The AT6159 is a high voltage half-bridge driver. The preheat circuit has been designed into AT6159. Adjustable current controlled preheat mode technology enables the preheat time (TPH) and preheat current to be set independently by capacitor through SW pin for preheat time and resistor through PC pin for preheat current. This mode is trigged during start up,non-preheat Glow-time control minimizes electrode damage just after ignition of the lamp. The AT6159 built in 500V gate driver circuit and preheat circuit, makes the minimization of the external circuit.
